Personal Email Inbox on a Shared Domain: Who Can Read Your Mail?

Understand personal inbox access in Pro Plus: account ownership, password recovery, shared domains and why an email address is not a login credential.

A personal email inbox means your account controls access to its messages and addresses. It does not require an exclusive domain name. In Temp Mail Ace Pro Plus, new addresses use shared Pro domains while their mail and History remain associated with the signed-in account that owns them.

This distinction matters when two addresses have the same ending. Seeing the same domain in another user's address does not give either user access to the other's messages. The premium-domain guide explains the domain choice; this guide explains the account boundary.

The address receives mail; the account authorizes access

A sender needs the full address to deliver a message. Opening the inbox, viewing attachments, moving messages and restoring an address require the appropriate account access. An email address alone is not a password, a recovery key or authorization to read mail.

Do not share a signed-in browser profile as if it were separate accounts for several people. Someone using your active session may be able to act as you. Sign out on a shared computer and keep passwords and recovery information out of screenshots, messages and public notes.

Protect the account you return to

Use a strong account password and store any recovery key shown during setup in a private place. Account recovery uses the saved recovery method, not knowledge of one of your inbox addresses. Losing both the password and the available recovery method can prevent you from returning to stored mail.

Open account security from your account settings. Check which email identifies the account before changing a password or recovery key. Do not confuse a newly generated inbox address with the login email you used to create the account.

What personal ownership means for History

Cloud History lists your eligible addresses after sign-in. Search and restoration act on the original inbox owned by your account. Another customer cannot restore it by typing the address, and a deleted address is not offered as a new address for someone else through the current creation flow.

The reservation rule prevents reassignment; it does not guarantee unlimited storage or restore content already cleaned up after expiry. See how original-address recovery works before depending on an old mailbox.

Privacy while reading incoming messages

The shared message viewer restricts active content and keeps remote images blocked until you choose to load them. External links and attachments still come from the sender. Check a link's destination before opening it, and remember that allowing remote images may reveal connection information to their host.

Personal account access does not mean a promise of end-to-end encrypted mail or complete anonymity. Review the published privacy policy for service processing and retention, and the temporary email privacy guide for safe reading habits.

Quick answers

Can another subscriber read my mail because we use the same domain?

The account access rules restrict real mail and restoration to the owning account. A shared domain does not grant shared inbox authorization.

Can I recover my account by giving support an inbox address alone?

An address is not authorization. Use the supported account recovery method and keep the required recovery information private.

Is this a team mailbox?

The current Pro Plus workspace is personal. It does not provide a team-sharing or delegated-access workflow.
