A free trial may start with one verification message but continue with account alerts, cancellation instructions and billing notices. Before choosing temporary email, decide whether the trial is truly a short demonstration or the beginning of an account you will need to keep.
Read the trial's rules first
Use a temporary address only when the service permits it and you are eligible for the trial. An expiring address does not create another entitlement, remove a payment requirement or make repeated trials acceptable. If the service rejects disposable email, use a supported address; see domain rejection explained.
Identify the messages you may need later
Ask whether the trial can create a paid subscription, whether cancellation depends on an email link and whether customer support sends replies to the registered address. If losing that address would make any of those actions difficult, use a permanent mailbox or an accepted lasting alias from the beginning.
A temporary inbox does not cancel a subscription when it expires. The trial provider controls renewal, cancellation and charges. Keep its terms and account controls available independently of a short-lived inbox.
For an eligible low-risk demonstration
If there is no ongoing dependency and the provider accepts the address, create a temporary receiving inbox. Check its remaining time, paste the exact address into the approved trial form and keep the inbox available until confirmation is complete. Allow for delivery delays rather than assuming a code will arrive instantly.
Keep a record of the provider's trial end date and cancellation requirements in a place you control. Do not use the temporary mailbox as the only place to keep those details, and avoid putting confidential or payment information into it.
When you decide to keep the account
Before the inbox expires, change the account email to a lasting address through the provider's settings if that option is supported. Complete any confirmation steps and verify that future messages go to the new address. Temp Mail Ace cannot change an external account's email for you.
Read temporary versus permanent email and the alias comparison if privacy is important but ongoing access is also required.
Does inbox expiry end the free trial?
No. Inbox lifetime and the trial's account or billing rules are independent.
Is a temporary address guaranteed to work?
No. Acceptance is determined by the trial provider and can change.
