Restoring a temporary email address should return you to the mailbox that originally received its mail. In Temp Mail Ace Pro Plus, eligible deleted addresses can be recovered through the owning account's History during an active subscription. The restored item keeps its original address and mailbox identity.
Generating the same address again is a different action and is intentionally refused by the current creation flow. Previously generated addresses are reserved to reduce the risk of another customer receiving future mail meant for an earlier owner. Recovery uses authorization and retained data, not a spelling match alone.
Find the original address in History
Sign in to the account that created the Plus address, open Pro Plus, and select History. Search using the complete address or a distinctive part of it. If you know when it was created, the date filter can help narrow the list. Compare the domain carefully when several local parts look similar.
Choose Restore for the eligible deleted address. The service checks the account's active subscription, domain availability and active-inbox capacity. After restoration, open the original inbox and confirm its full address before asking a sender for a new message.
Restore access to the address and its stored mail
An address moved to recoverable Trash stops being an active receiving address. Restoration can resume reception when the domain and subscription remain eligible. Messages already stored in that inbox remain associated with it; their Inbox, Archive or Trash folder is not automatically changed.
If you also deleted a message, restore the address first and then use message recovery. If the address or messages were permanently removed after retention ended, the reservation alone is not a copy of that mailbox and cannot recreate its contents.
Why New inbox may reject the old name
An address reservation is not released simply because its mailbox was deleted or the plan later expired. The New inbox action creates a new mailbox, so it must not allocate a previously reserved address to a new owner. Typing the old local part can therefore fail even when it no longer appears among active inboxes.
Return through History using the original account if restoration remains available. Do not assume that another account, another browser or guessing a past address will authorize recovery. Historical addresses permanently deleted before reservation was introduced may not be represented in the current ledger.
Check capacity and subscription status
Restoring an address uses an active-inbox slot. If all slots are occupied, move an address you no longer need out of active use or review the configured plan capacity. Its stored mail still counts toward Plus storage even while the address is in recoverable Trash.
During post-expiry read-only grace, you may be able to inspect retained mail but must renew to restore reception. Renewal extends eligible access; it does not automatically recover intentionally deleted addresses. Use the subscription renewal guide to review the current quote, then return to History.
Quick answers
Can somebody else recreate my old address?
The current creation flow rejects previously reserved addresses. Only authorized recovery can restore an eligible original mailbox.
Will restoration return my mail to the same address?
It preserves the original address and existing stored mailbox content, subject to retention and account eligibility.
Is knowing the address enough?
No. Use the original owning account and its supported recovery method if you have lost account access.
