Recover Deleted Email Messages in Pro Plus: A Practical Guide

Restore deleted Pro Plus messages from Trash during your active subscription. Learn the difference between message recovery, address recovery and expiry.

Recovering a deleted email message starts by finding where the message was moved. In Temp Mail Ace Pro Plus, deleting a message places it in the recoverable Trash folder. While your subscription remains active, eligible stored messages can be restored without a separate seven-day trash-age cutoff.

Recovery applies to mail that still exists under the account's retention rules. It is not a way to reconstruct content permanently removed before the current recovery feature or after the final expiry cleanup. The saved-message guide explains that storage boundary.

Restore a message from its original inbox

Sign in to the account that owns the Plus inbox. Select the complete address that received the message, then open Trash in that mailbox. Choose the deleted message and use Restore to return it to Inbox. Open Inbox afterward to confirm that the intended message is available.

If several messages have similar subjects, compare the sender, received time and content before acting. Verification codes can expire at the sender even when the email remains stored. Restoring an old message does not extend the validity of a code or an activation link inside it.

If you deleted the address as well

Message Trash and address History solve different problems. A deleted address can hide access to the mailbox containing the message. Open History, locate the original address and restore it first if the subscription and available inbox capacity allow the action. Then select that inbox and check its message folders.

Restoring the address preserves its original mailbox identity and stored mail. It does not mean that every message will be in Inbox: a message previously moved to Archive or Trash keeps its folder. Follow the address restoration guide for that first step.

When the Restore action is unavailable

Check the account email and subscription status. An expired Plus subscription can provide read-only access during its configured grace period, but restoration requires active access. Review subscription renewal rather than creating a different account to look for the same mail.

Next, confirm that you are in a Plus inbox, not a free or Pro mailbox with different deletion rules. If the data has already been cleaned up after its retention deadline, renewal cannot bring it back. If an eligible stored item still fails to restore, contact support through the site's published channel with non-sensitive task details.

Recovery does not release or duplicate storage

Moving a message to Trash retains its content and attachments within the Plus storage quota. Restoring it changes the folder rather than creating another email copy. Conversely, deleting recoverable messages will not free the space needed for new deliveries.

Use Archive for mail you deliberately want to keep out of the main list. Use Trash for items you intend to remove but may need to recover while eligible. Neither folder turns this receive-only service into an outgoing mailbox.

Quick answers

Is Plus recovery limited to seven days after deletion?

No separate seven-day deletion-age limit applies during the active subscription. Storage and final subscription-retention limits still apply.

Does restoring a message renew an OTP?

No. The sender controls a verification code's validity.

Can I restore another person's message if I know the address?

No. Restoration requires the owning account's authorization, not knowledge of the address alone.
